In the Bible it is written: "But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear." (1 Pet 3:15) God tells us to be prepared to give a reason why we believe the way we do to anyone who asks. All too often we believe what we want to believe because it is
familiar or convenient or because it makes us feel better. When someone asks us for a reason behind a faith like this the answer is most often unsatisfactory. Faith that is ultimately based on hope or fancy or tradition rather than
on objective reality, on concretely verifiable evidence, is easily crushed in trial. Faith need not be blind; indeed, it should not be; it can be based upon facts. Apologetics Apologetics are "reasoned arguments or writings in justification of something, typically a theory or religious doctrine." The works contained in this section of my site are apologetic in nature: they are designed to help us have appropriate reasons for believing what we do, and to understand these reasons well enough to explain them to others. Included are works about the nature of the Bible itself, about how to prove God exists and that He is as the Bible describes, and works that refute specific publications of others which discredit the Bible or basic biblical doctrines.
Fitly Spken explains basic principles of reason and devices often used to deceive. Given By Inspiration shows how the purpose of the inspiration of the Bible implies its preservation for us today in an inspired form. His Virgin exposes verses you'd never obey in any version but the KJV or NKJV. Infallible Proof formally proves that God is as the Old Testament reveals. Sacred Geometry refutes an attempt to discredit the Bible through arbitrary geometric designs using biblical gemmatria. Theomatics refutes an attempt to show hidden mathematical structures in the language of the Bible. We don't need a lie to support the truth. "There Is No God" proves that Atheism is irrational and that God exists. The Syrian Recension proves that all modern Bible translations depend on a lie. What Is Truth? refutes Post-Modernism, the belief that truth is relative.
